UNIDO – The Kigali Amendment

UNIDO is a United Nations agency whose goal is to promote industrial development to reduce poverty, promote globalization, and sustainable development. Two reports were written by experts on the development of natural refrigerant technology in Africa, specifically on the impacts of the Kigali Amendment (which is part of the Montreal Protocol and aims to eliminate hydrofluorocarbons).

The main challenge was to make the complex data collected during surveys and investigations graphically readable. The goal was to highlight trends rather than numbers in order to help the reader understand the context and consequences of changes in legislation and technology.
